Professional Bio
I graduated from Halls High School in 1992 and then Christian Brothers University with a BA in Psychology in 1997. I was a Cum Laude graduate and enjoyed my studies there tremendously. I worked as a Family Services Assistant for the Tina Turner Family Center for 6 years before receiving my Masters in Teaching from the University of Memphis in 2003 and my K-12 Library Endorsement in 2015. I taught 6th grade English at Ripley Middle School for 10 years and Social Studies for 2 years. I became the RMS librarian in 2013 and look forward to serving you for many years to come!
On a Personal Note
I am married to James Pipkin and have two boys, Beck and Cade. In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, photography, playing on the computer, going to the beach, writing, watching movies (especially documentaries), playing with my animals, and reading interesting, thought provoking books. My favorite genres are dystopian and human interest stories.
